Who Should Attend:   Crime Scene Investigators, Forensic Lab Analysts, Criminal Investigators, Traffic Crash Investigators, and Supervisors.

Course Description and Objectives: This course will enhance the student's understanding of expert testimony in the court, the procedures in court, how to prepare for courtroom testimony, the tactics of a cross-examining attorney, and the ethical considerations of presenting facts and
opinions.

This course will consist of 12 hours of lecture, discussion, and presentations through Microsoft Teams. Students must attend these live sessions at the set times. The student will complete 4 hours of work outside of class (Answers to Voir Dire, Completion of CV, and Meeting with DA).

Comments:  Course will run for 3 consecutive days of four hours each day of live instruction.
Students will then have 2 weeks to submit a CV and meet with a DA.
