2021 Followership: Being an Influential Employee (2 credits) - This course is required for 2021 In-Service Detention Officer Training. The purpose of this course is to present and discuss the concept of followership, which examines the importance of the detention officer’s role as it relates to the overall mission of the agency. Not every employee focuses on climbing the ladder of rank and responsibility. Spending time exploring what motivates that same employee will prove beneficial to him or her, as well as to the agency.
