7022-Federal Crimes Conference - 5/14/2026 Raleigh, NC

Brief Description
Federal Crimes Conference (formerly OCDETF)
Full Description
Federal Crimes Conference (formerly OCDETF) was created in 1982 as a new law enforcement model of Federal, State, and Local cooperation to combat drugs. In 1998, the formerly OCDETF unit in the US Attorney's Office Eastern District/North Carolina (EDNC) formed a partnership with the NC National Guard at MANTA to provide specialized training for drug agents in the 44-county EDNC. This conference is now recognized as one of the best law enforcement conferences in the country and has expanded to include state drug prosecutors and agents from across North Carolina and neighboring states. Training in the latest successful drug investigation techniques is provided. In addition, the conference serves to motivate and build a strong drug enforcement team effort. The training is designed to teach new material to both conference alumni and first-time attendees. Sheriffs, DAs, and Police Chiefs are encouraged to attend with their drug units. Each year a dynamic agenda with a mix of nationally known experts and practitioners working narcotics trafficking along with multiple breakout sessions will be offered.
