Full Description: Prerequisites:
To be eligible for the course, the student must successfully complete the following course:

Field Force Operation (FFO) three-day course from either the CDP or a validated agency through the CDP.

Students must be physically capable of standing for long periods; walking and marching for long periods; employing a baton in the performance of crowd-control actions; and performing lifts and carries required in the performance of mass-arrest carries.

Exceptions to any of the above prerequisites may be granted on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of the Registrar.

Who Should Attend:
Law Enforcement and Security Officers who require training and practice in mass-arrest procedures.

Course Description and Objectives:
The one-day Field Force Operations Refresher (FFO-R) is designed to reinforce knowledge and skills required to manage and control crowds and demonstrations.

Below are some, but not all, of the critical skill sets learned during this training program:

• Mass Arrest
• Protester Tactics
• Team Tactics
• Legal Updates

Prerequisites: The student signing up for the class must provide their FEMA/CDP SID Number as a requirement to sign up for the class. If they don’t have a FEMA/SID Number, you can go to www.cdp.dhs.gov and register for one. If you have one, you can print the SID number from the FEMA student portal at the same website

To successfully complete the course, you must accomplish each of the following:

Pass the knowledge and skills test at the end of the course.
Participate in all hands-on activities.

Reporting Instructions: Must have an active email in Acadis
100% Attendance is mandatory.
100% Participation is mandatory.
Pass the knowledge and skills test at the end of the course.
