Full Description
The “Evolution of Ammunition” course is a 6-hour course which focuses on a comprehensive review of the changes in performance regarding LE/MIL/GOV ammunition, training, and firearms platforms throughout the last 30+ years. This course is designed to demonstrate how various types of ammunition perform ballistically (internally, externally, and terminally), as well as provide insight into cartridges and ammunition designed specifically for LE/MIL/GOV operations.
This course provides a detailed look into performance issues with various calibers of ammunition when they are used outside of their intended application and performance windows, which expose the liabilities that they create for the end user. This course will utilize ballistic gelatin during the range session to provide detailed information on projectile performance.
The ultimate goal of this course is to provide LE/MIL/GOV personnel insight into how their choices of firearms and ammunition must work in order to prevent liability issues which could ultimately affect the Agency, its Officer’s, not to mention those they have sworn to protect.
