Who Should Attend:
Any federal and local law enforcement, including task force officers (TFO), U.S. Attorneys and local prosecutors.

Course Description and Objectives:
This course is designed to instruct the new task force officers, and any new investigators about proactive narcotic operations. This course is designed to be instructed at the 33 Drug Enforcement Administration High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) centers and DEA Field Offices throughout the U.S.
The class LP is from DEA materials and the LP has been previously approved via DEA and federal DOJ.

The three (3) day class covers the following:

-Drug identification and hazards.
-User vs. dealer amounts.
-Routes of administration.
-Individual roles and responsibilities of the case agent, undercover, cover teams and supervisors.
-Confidential informant (CI) / cooperating source (CS) management.
-Establishing and working federal and state cases (case management).

Special Concerns:
DEA covers all costs for instructor travels.
